Missouri To Forfeit $12.4 Million In Its Exit From The Big 12

It was reported Tuesday that Texas A&M would be required to forfeit an estimated $12.3 million from the revenue distribution projected from the conference for 2012. It was learned late Tuesday that a similar settlement had been reached with the University of Missouri-Columbia.

The exit penalties for both schools are based on expected distributions this year from revenue received from football television contracts, plus bowl games and NCAA Torunament appearances.
