The Missouri Tigers do not have a lot to play for within Big 12 play as they have locked up the No. 2 seed for the conference tournament, however they are still in the running for a No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament, and a loss to Texas Tech or a poor showing could hurt their chances.
At the half they are only leading 32-28 against the Texas Tech Red Raiders who are last place in the Big 12 and have only one conference win.
Missouri is being led by Kim English who has 11 points and Ricardo Ratliffe already has a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Outside of those two players the Missouri offense is struggling, they have made only 10 baskets and are shooting a paltry 40 percent, but they are ahead because of those 10 baskets four have been three-point shots.
Texas Tech has a balanced scoring attack and is hitting 53 percent of their shots, but they have only went 1-of-2 from the free throw line compared to Missouri who has made 8-of-10. Texas Tech is being led in scoring by Robert Lewandowski and Jaye Crockett who each have six points.
