NFL Free Agency: Kirk Morrison Re-Signs With Buffalo Bills

The Kansas City Chiefs could be in the market for an inside linebacker to pair with Jovan Belcher and Brandon Siler in training camp for the sake of competition. After all, Belcher is often replaced via mock drafts by Boston College linebacker Luke Kuechly and Siler was out all of last season. One of the potential free agent linebackers hopefully available on the free agent market has decided to take himself out of the running with the news that Kirk Morrison has re-signed with the Buffalo Bills.

The former Raider manned the inside linebacker position for Oakland for several years before starting for one year at Jacksonville and then spending last season coming into games for the Bills. It’s surprising to see him re-sign since last season was his first season he was not a starter. In limited action, Morrison, who is now 30, only had 7 tackles and 1 sack.
