The 2012 Masters Field is set and there are 92 participants in this year's field, with play beginning on Thursday. This field is made up of past Masters champions, winners of past PGA events and golfers ranked in the top 50 of the Official World Golf Rankings.
There are three local golfers in this years field in Tom Watson, Chez Reavie and Gary Woodland.
Watson is in the Masters field for winning the event back in 1977 and 1981, and has won eight major championships. Back in 2010's Masters, Watson had an excellent first round by shooting a 67 which was good for second place, and he finished 18th overall. The top-20 finish put Watson in rarified air as he joined Sam Snead as the only other golfer to have a top-20 finish in a major championship over five decades.
Reavie has been on the PGA Tour since 2008 and has made two cuts at the Masters, most recently back in 2009, and he has two wins to his name on the PGA Tour.
Woodland is also a fairly young golfer on the Tour and has had his card since 2007, with one pro win at the 2011 Transitions Championships. This will be his second go-around at the Masters -- Woodland played last year and finished tied for 24th.
