Kansas City Royals pitcher Danny Duffy is going to miss his scheduled start against the Minnesota Twins on Friday due to minor tightness in his left arm, the team announced Thursday.
Everett Teaford is going to pitch in Duffy's place on Friday, but the Royals said Duffy will return to the lineup on Wednesday, which is against the Detroit Lions. Duffy's tightness came after his Sunday start against the Toronto Blue Jays.
