2012 Masters Odds: Tiger Woods The Current Favorite To Win

The first round of the 2012 Masters at Augusta will begin on Thursday. As of Tuesday, the speculation is running rampant as to who will win the coveted green jacket this year. Tiger Woods has an oppotunity to win his fifth Masters, which would put him just a step behind Jack Nicklaus' six Masters wins. Should Woods pull off the win, it would also be his 73rd career PGA Tour win, which would put him in a tie with Nicklaus for second-most career wins.

Woods is the current odds-on favorite to win the tournament, although phenom Rory McIlroy and Phil Mickelson are close behind. Tom Watson, Chez Reavie and Gary Woodland lead the local contingent at the tournament, but the odds against any of those players are long indeed. Woodland is currently looking at 100/1 odds to win, while Watson's odds against are 250/1.
