VIDEO: Bruce Chen Has 10 Pickoff Attempts During One At-Bat

While Bruce Chen has been an effective veteran for the Kansas City Royals the last few seasons, he's hardly known as the kind of pitcher who's going to run the table through all nine innings. He's typically good for five or six and then the bullpen must come in and do their work. GIven how Chen was roughed up yesterday against the Twins, perhaps he might want to keep from wasting 10 pitches of a limited arm on picking off a player.

For those who missed the Twins-Royals game yesterday, Chen had fun playing catch with Eric Hosmer at first while keeping tabs on Denard Span. The Check out the incredible 10 pickoff attempts for one runner:
