It's not been a pretty day at the 2012 Masters for the three Kansas City area golfers. Chez Reavie, Tom Watson and Gary Woodland have all struggled mightily in the first round of play, and could find themselves in danger of missing the weekend cut.
Reavie currently sits at seven strokes above par through the first 16 holes, with only three golfers shooting worse. Watson, meanwhile, finished his round five strokes over par and is currently tied for 85th in the tournament.
Woodland had the best day of the KC golfers, finishing his first round just one stroke over par, shooting a 73. Woodland is currently tied for 43rd in the tournament.
There's currently a five-way tie at the top of the leaderboard. Miguel-Angel Jimenez, Paul Lawrie, and Francesco Molinari all finished the day at -3. Lee Westwood sits at -3 through 10, and Bubba Watson is at -3 through his first eight holes.
Tiger Woods finished his day at even par.
