Chiefs Players Visit Northview Elementary In Olathe For NFL's Play 60 Challenge

For those wanting to check out the latest photo gallery from the Kansas City Star documenting how Chiefs players are investing back into the community through the NFL, you should peruse this gallery. Players like Brandon Flowers and Kendrick Lewis took the time on Wednesday to visit Northview Elementary in Olathe to hang out with the students and teach them about the importance of activity.

"Our players recognize the value of staying healthy and it’s important that young fans also understand the benefits of exercise. NFL PLAY 60 is a significant tool in ensuring children get their necessary, daily physical activity," explains NFL commissioner Roger Goodell about the program.

From the main website, “NFL PLAY 60 is the National Football League’s campaign to encourage kids to be active for 60 minutes a day in order to help reverse the trend of childhood obesity.”
