The Players Championship 2012 Leaderboard: Tiger and Phil Are Moving In Opposite Directions

Phil Mickelson has slipped down to 2-over through his first five holes and has fallen into a tie for 52nd overall as he's even at Sawgrass. Tiger Woods is at par through six holes at the 2012 Players Championship, and is tied for 38th at 2-under for the tournament.

After two rounds of the tournament, Tiger, Phil and everyone who made the cut at Ponte Vedra Beach are looking up to the trio of Matt Kuchar, Kevin Na and Zach Johnson who sit at 8-under for The Players Championship. Kuchar and Harris English, in fourth place at 7-under, will tee off at 2:24pm Eastern. Na and Johnson will tee off at 2:35pm Eastern.

The $9,500,000 purse is up for grabs, but will the fast greens and humid weather push someone to the top in round three? Or will the lions like Tiger and Phil make a run back up to the top of the leaderboard? We'll soon find out.
