2012 NASCAR Standings: Matt Kenseth Trails Greg Biffle By Two Points

A fourth-place finish at the Southern 500 has Kenseth on the cusp of taking over the lead in the Sprint Cup Series.

The race in the Sprint Cup Series got tighter over the weekend at the Southern 500 as a fourth-place finish for Matt Kenseth now has him just two points behind Greg Biffle for first place.

Making a charge from behind is Jimmie Johnson, who won on Saturday night. He jumped up three spots, from eighth to fifth place, in the standings.
