Missouri shortstop Eric Garcia was named Most Outstanding Player at the 2012 Big 12 Baseball Tournament that the Tigers won with an 8-7 win over Oklahoma on Sunday.

Garcia went 2 for 4 from the leadoff spot in Sunday's victory driving in one run and scoring one. He also walked and stole a bag against the Sooners. He went 7 for 14 in the tournament and was a catalyst for the Tigers who went undefeated 4-0 in the tournament.
Missouri defeated Texas in the opening game of the tournament and followed that up with a 5-3 win over Texas A&M. The Tigers knocked off Kansas 12-2 to reach the championship game where they defeated Oklahoma on Sunday.
