Kansas City Chiefs safety Jon McGraw is the primary speaker at Washburn Rural High School’s Baccalaureate on Sunday night, and the event is open to the public for those who want to hear. The Topeka Capital Journal has the details on the celebration.
“McGraw, a married father of two young children, frequently shares his faith with groups such as the Fellowship of Christian Athletes,” writes Phil Anderson. “Washburn Rural seniors who attend are encouraged to come dressed in their caps and gowns. The event is open to the public.”
McGraw is a five-year Chiefs veteran and is slated for some more competition for his back-up safety roles with the addition of De’quan Menzie in the 2012 NFL Draft.
