As the 138th running of the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs comes to a close and everyone counts their winnings or mourns their losses, those who bet on I'll Have Another and his rookie jockey Mario Gutierrez are among the precious few able to feel good about their weekend investment. Sports Business Journal Darren Rovell says that the sports books cashed in with the results.
Sports books really pleased with I'll Have Another win. @Sportsbook_com tells me the horse was among the 5 least wagered on.

It was a win for Gutierrez in his first time racing at Churchill Downs and obviously the Derby. I'll Have Another came into the race at 15-1 odds, and things looked grim for everyone but Bodemeister given his tremendous lead down the stretch. But the last few hundred yards are the most exciting for a reason and the upset was made.
