2012 U.S. Open: Tiger Woods Is In A 3-Way Tie For First

The second round of the 2012 U.S. Open is in the books and there is a three-way tie atop of the leaderboard after two rounds. The leaders are Tiger Woods, Jim Furyk and David Toms; all three are at 1-under par. Woods and Toms both shot an even par on Friday while Furyk shot 1-under. With this being the U.S. Open the course is extremely tough and it shows with only this trio having a score under par.

While Woods looks to be in the hunt for another major victory, there are two former major champions who are not so lucky and have missed the cut. Defending U.S. Open champion Rory McIlory missed the cut as he shot a 10-over par during the first two rounds, and 2012 Master champion Bubba Watson also missed the cut as he shot a 9-over par.
