U.S. Open 2012: Win Nets Webb Simpson $1.44 Million

After some tense moments in the clubhouse watching JIm Furyk and Graeme McDowell play the 18th hole, Webb Simpson held on to win the U.S. Open.

The 26-year-old earned his first major title and added $1.44 million to his bank account in the process.
