Kansas City Chiefs And Arizona Cardinals Could Have Dual Practices

The Kansas City Chiefs announced their training camp schedule, but did not confirm that dual practices with the Arizona Cardinals have been agree upon. However, the deal appears close.

Arizona plays in the Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio five days before a preseason game in Kansas City. In May, Missouri Western State announced that officials were negotiating with the Cardinals to figure out the logistics of hosting two NFL teams at the same time in St. Joseph.

From the St. Joseph News-Press:

The plan likely would include two days of walkthroughs/practices for the Cardinals at Western alongside the Chiefs. McGuffin expects those dates to be August 7 and 8 with the possibility of Arizona holding at least one workout on August 9, the day before the game at Arrowhead.

Western Missouri State athletic director Kurt McGuffin told the News-Press that the deal is on track to get done.
