More All-America Honors For Six Of The Big 12's Best In Baseball

Six Big 12 baseball stars were named to the 2012 Baseball America All-America team, led by first-team selectees Andrew Heaney of Oklahoma State and Josh Ludy of Baylor.

Heaney, the junior, left-handed starting ace of the Cowboys, and Ludy, a senior catcher for Baylor, were the Big 12 Pitcher and Player of the Year, respectively, this season.

Starting pitcher Michael Wacha of Texas A&M and infielder Jamodrick McGruder of Texas Tech were named to the second team, and Baylor starting pitcher Josh Turley and A&M outfielder Tyler Naquin, the 2011 Big 12 Player of the Year were selected to the third team.

This is the third straight year the Big 12 has had at least four players named to the Baseball America All-America team.
