Sean Dougherty, head golf professional at Milburn Country Club, is 12 shots off the pace after two completed rounds at the 2012 PGA Professional National Championship in Seaside, Calif.
↵Dougherty fired a six-over-par 76 on the second day of the championship to go with his first-round score of 72 for a two-round total of 148, which also served as the cut line for the tournament.
↵The leader is Matt Dobyns at four-under 168. Dobyns, from Lake Success, N.Y.,shot back-to-back rounds of 68 to take a one-stroke lead heading into the third round Tuesday.
↵The four-day championship of primarily country-club golf professionals is being held this year at Bayonet & Black Horse Golf Courses, located in the Monterey area in Northern California.
