Hometown favorite NASCAR driver Clint Bowyer experienced the biggest weekend of the year this past weekend.
↵The Emporia, Kan., native not only captured his first Sprint Cup win of the season, winning the Toyota/Save Mart 350 at the Infineon Raceway road course in Sonoma, but he also earned $100,000 by auctioning off his 2011 Toyota Tundra pickup truck at the Barrett-Jackson Auction in Orange County over the weekend.
↵Bowyer promptly contributed the money from the sale of his Toyota Tundra to the Emporia Community Foundation, which is one of the prime charities he regularly supports.
