Tony Moeaki Voted As Fantasy Football Breakout Candidate

Now that the 2012 NFL Draft is behind us and training camp is not for several weeks, fantasy football analysis is coming into focus and several NFL writers will make their list of breakout stars. Matt Smith believes the Kansas City Chiefs have a tight end to watch in Tony Moeaki, who is certainly a good bounce back candidate if he can stay healthy.

Smith writes, “Before he got hurt, he looked to be making his way toward being included in that group of elite pass catching tight ends. He’ll be available in the middle to late rounds, and will end up as a top 10 producer at the position.”

Moeaki has a penchant for getting injured, so he’s likely to cause fits for fantasy owners wanting him to stay healthy. The Chiefs also grabbed Kevin Boss in an attempt to create more flexibility and insurance at the tight end position on the field. Perhaps that’s not a bad move for the fantasy football player as well.
