Tom Watson broke par for a second consecutive day, but still trails the leaders by eight strokes entering the final round of the Senior Players Championship being played at Fox Chapel Golf Club in Pittsburgh, Pa.
↵The Kansas City golf legend, still nursing a wrist injury, shot a score of 69 on Saturday for a three-round score of 206, tied with Jay Haas, the 2009 winner of this championship, and Willie Wood in 16th place.
↵Mark Calcavecchia and Joe Daly are tied for the lead in the Senior Players Championship with a 12-under score of 198. Defending champion Fred Couples and Tom Lehman are still just one shot back at 11 under.
↵Watson, winner of eight major golf championships in his legendary career, has never won the Senior Players Championship.
