Royals Vs. White Sox: Game 1 Preview, TV Info And More

The Royals start the second half of the 2012 MLB season looking to climb the standings, and they'll host first-place Chicago to start.

The Kansas City Royals will look to kick start the second half of the 2012 campaign starting with their own division, when they'll host the first place White Sox on Friday. The Royals are 9.5 games away from the White Sox in the AL Central and ten games from .500 after closing out the first half on a 2-8 run. There's some good news - while the Royals have shown little signs of life, they did take two of three from the Sox back in May, winning the last two games by a combined score of 14-1.
