The Kansas City Royals will look to kick start the second half of the 2012 campaign starting with their own division, when they'll host the first place White Sox on Friday. The Royals are 9.5 games away from the White Sox in the AL Central and ten games from .500 after closing out the first half on a 2-8 run. There's some good news - while the Royals have shown little signs of life, they did take two of three from the Sox back in May, winning the last two games by a combined score of 14-1.
Date / Time: Friday, July 13, 7:10 p.m. CT
Location: Kauffman Stadium, Kansas City, Missouri
TV: Fox Sports KC
Radio: KCSP 610
Probable Starters: Jose Quintana (4-1) vs. Bruce Chen (7-8)
