Team USA Basketball: Russell Westbrook Helps the United States Crush Great Britain

Team USA is now 3-0 this summer in international friendly's as they completely demolished Great Britain by a final score of 118-78 on Thursday afternoon in Manchester, England.

The game started out close and Great Britain hung around in the first quarter, being down by no more than 13 points. But the United States began to pull away in the second quarter as they led by 18 points at the half.

The second half was all Team USA as they got it going on the defensive side of the ball and at one point led by as many as 46 points.

Deron Williams and Carmelo Anthony scored 19 points each while LeBron James added 16 points in the contest. Oklahoma City Thunder represenatives Kevin Durant, Rusell Westbrook and James Harden all played great as well.

Durant contributed 13 points, Harden had nine points and Westbrook chipped in with 15 points and nine assists.

Team USA will play their next friendly against Argentina on Sunday.
