2012 British Open Leaderboard: Brandt Snedeker Holds The Lead On Friday

One day after Adam Scott set the course record with a 64 on Thursday at Royal Lytham and St. Anne's, the record books needed to be amended once more on Friday.

Brandt Snedeker tied Scott's mark with a 64 of his own, giving him a score of 10-under for the outright lead in the 2012 British Open. The aforementioned Scott is all alone in second only one shot off the pace while Tiger Woods continues to lurk, 6-under for the tournament.

Matt Kuchar vaulted himself up the leaderboard, with the American shooting a 67 to move into a tie for fourth at 4-under par. Jason Dufner is also making a move, coming up 33 spots with an identical score of 4-under. Dufner is still on the course, currently on the 17th hole.

On the flip side of things, Rory McIlroy had a brutal day on the links, shooting a 75 and falling to 2-over on the week. The young phenom is all but out of the race, tied for 52nd.
