2012 British Open: TV Coverage, How To Watch Online And More

The third round of the 2012 British Open gets underway in the middle of the night state side at 2:20 a.m. CT, with the first group which features Tom Watson and Lee Westwood. The television coverage on ESPN gets underway at 6 a.m. CT, but for those who have trouble sleeping -- or really like golf -- ESPN3 begins their Open Championship coverage at 4 a.m. CT.

ESPN3 has various coverage with options to mirror the television broadcast, holes No, 9, 10 and 11 and there is a Spanish language channel as well. In addition to all of ESPN's online coverage there is even more at TheOpen.com with additional commentators Dominik Holyer and Lizzie Greenwood-Hughes if you tire of the ESPN announcers. That same coverage is available through an Android, iPhone and iPad app. Finally, there is video press conference coverage, radio feeds and hourly updates.

Basically, there are so many ways to watch that being a golf there is no reason to miss any of the British Open.
