2012 British Open Leaderboard: Zach Johnson Making Solid Run

A cluster of golfers at the top of the board improved their postions with strong early play in Round 3 of the 2012 British Open, as the leaders begin teeing off. Bubba Watson was in the midst of a strong run before a double bogey on the 15th hole derailed his efforts, dropping him to 2-under on the day and a tie for 16th place through 16 holes. Zach Johnson is also having himself a good day, shooting 3-under through 12 holes and jumping 11 spots to move into a tie for fourth.

Local golfer Tom Watson had a difficult outing, shooting a 6-over 76 to drop 14 spots into 82nd place. Watson dug himself a hole early, double-bogeying twice in his first six holes of the day. He finished his day with a +9 on the tournament so far.
