Tyshawn Taylor, Julian Wright Named To Nets' Summer League Roster

Two former Jayhawks were added to the New Jersey Nets Summer League roster on Friday. Both Julian Wright and Tyshawn Taylor will make the trips out to Las Vegas as they try to prove themselves in one of the more valuable scouting sessions before training camps open.

Taylor, a New Jersey Native, was selected with the No. 41 pick by the Blazers in the second round of the 2012 NBA Draft. Portland immediately traded his rights to the Nets, where he'll have a shot to make the roster on a non-guaranteed contract as they move to Brooklyn. He'll have an excellent opportunity to impress Avery Johnson, starting in Vegas.

Wright, a 2007 first-round pick by the Hornets, has not played in the league in two years after seeing action in 52 games for the Toronto Raptors in the 2010-11 season.
