Two rounds have been completed at the 2012 PGA Championship and there are three golfers who are tied at the top. The leaders are Tiger Woods, Vijay Singh and Carl Pettersson who are all tied at 4-under par. Pettersson had a rough second round as he shot a 2-over, 74 which included five bogies over a stretch of seven holes, but he also had three birdies in the round.
Tiger Woods shot a 1-under round of 71, and by being tied at the top he is now only 36 holes away from winning his first major championship since he won the 2008 U.S. Open.
Vijay Singh is the other golfer tied at 4-under par, and for his second round he shot a 3-under round of 69 to move up and be tied for first place. In his second round Singh had five birdies and two bogies which allowed him to move up the leaderboard to be tied for first place.
