Royals Vs. Orioles Final Score: Kansas City Falls 7-1 To Baltimore

The Kansas City Royals offense struggled on Friday night as they fell to the Baltimore Orioles 7-1 as Miguel Gonzalez pitched eight innings and held the Royals to six hits and allowed only one run. The Royals did not get any help from their starting pitcher Luke Hochevar gave up all seven runs in only 5.1 innings.

The inning that made the difference in the sixth inning as the Orioles put up four runs Nate McLouth had a RBI double, and then Manny Machado hit a three-run home run to give the Orioles a 7-1 lead. The Royals offense never got in a groove and over the final three innings only managed a pair of hits.
