Team USA Basketball Vs. Argentina Final Score: Kevin Durant's 19 Points Lifts USA To 109-83 Win

Team USA Basketball came into Friday's contest versus Argentina knowing that Spain had already made it to the gold medal game. Team USA also knew that back across the pond there was shenanigans and tomfoolery brewing with the Los Angeles Lakers and Dwight Howard. Most importantly, Team USA knew that they had to take care of business so that they too, could play in the gold medal game.

Take care of business indeed. The Americans rolled on a gritty Argentina team with a 109-86 victory in London to qualify for the gold medal game versus Spain on Sunday. Kevin Durant led the way with 19 points for Coach Mike Krzyzewski's squad and LeBron James scored 18 points, grabbed seven rebounds and delivered seven assists. Carmelo Anthony also scored 18 points, and Kobe Bryant scored 13.

Manu Ginobili led Argentina with 18 points as Argentina will look to face Russia in the bronze medal game.

Spain vs. USA is now officially on deck. Let the questions of size versus speed begin. Oh, and the let the Oklahoma City Thunder reunion in London begin as well.
