Play resumed early Sunday morning at the 2012 PGA Championship as golfers scramble to finish up the third round of the tournament before beginning the final round.
A birdie at 16 has Roy McIlroy at 7-under for the tournament and holding a three-shot lead over the rest of the field. Vijah Singh, Carl Pettersson and Trevor Immelman are all three shots back of McIlroy at 4-under.
The break in play may have helped Tiger Woods to sort himself out somewhat. Woods was four over through the first 10 holes of his third round but has two birdies on the back nine to get back to 2-under for the tournament.
Golfers will have to wait for the field to complete the third round before the final round can begin.
