The 2012 London Olympics come to a close Sunday after more than 300 events and 16 days of action. The London games officially end with the Closing Ceremony.
Sunday's Closing Ceremony figures to be much like the Opening Ceremony. It will feature more than 4,100 performers including some celebrity performances. Super models Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell will be there, as will the Spice Girls, Coldplay and The Who.
Bryshon Nellum who won a silver medal in the men's 4x400m relay will carry the United States flag during the closing ceremony. The games will come to an end with London handing the Olympic flag over to Rio, then extinguishing the Olympic flame.
The Closing Ceremony is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. ET and can be watched live at NBCOlympics.com. It will also air in primetime on NBC beginning at 7 p.m.
