PGA Championship Winner 2012: Rory McIlroy Wins Second Career Major

Rory McIlroy dominated the field at The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island and captured his second career major and his first PGA Championship.

McIlroy broke Jack Nicklaus' record for largest margin of victory at the PGA Championship winning by eight strokes over second place David Lynn. His 6-under, 66 on Sunday was his best round of the tournament. In fact McIlroy stepped his game up over the weekend shooting 11-under over the two rounds.

Lynn shot a 68 on Sunday to climb to 5-under and finish second. A group of four golfers including Carl Pettersson and 2011 champ Keegan Bradley finished tied for third at 4-under. Tiger Woods shot even par on Sunday and finished the tournament at 2-under and tied for 11th.
