Team USA Basketball: Kevin Durant Not Ready For 2016 Just Yet

Kevin Durant has already showed the entire world what he is capable of with his team-leading scoring charge through the 2012 London Olympics for Team USA. Now he's being asked if he's ready for another run in four years in Rio before he can properly celebrate a gold medal.

Shortly after the team won the gold against Spain, Durant was celebrating his moment with quotes after the game and reflecting back on the win against Spain in the final.

"I have a gold medal," said Durant. "It's unbelievable, man. I couldn't sleep last night waiting for the game. I'm glad we came out and got the W."

"They are a tough team," Durant said of Spain. "They made it tough for us all night. Fourth quarter, we were able to pull away, make some big shots. We have so many weapons on this team that can take over a game, but everybody chipped in tonight, and we got a really good win."

Instead of asking questions about the game, someone was eager to see if he would repeat his historic performance after dropping 30 points in the final.

"I'm going to enjoy this one tonight," said Durant. "We'll see probably in the next few years where we are going to go with that, but right now I'm just going to enjoy this."
