One notable absence from the Missouri Tigers football team's Saturday scrimmage was T.J. Moe, the team's top receiver on the depth chart who sat out with a hamstring injury. But Moe returned the field in a limited capacity Monday when the Tigers returned to the practice field.
The Tigers will definitely want Moe healthy for quarterback James Franklin. As a sophomore in 2010, Moe brought in 92 catches last year for 1,045 yards and six touchdowns. His numbers went down in 2011, but he still led the team with 649 yards receiving and four touchdowns. He also threw a touchdown.
Plus, the Tigers saw two other wide receivers banged up in Monday's practice, L'Damian Washington (bruised shoulder) and Jimmie Hunt (sprained foot).
The Tigers will hold a single session in full pads Tuesday morning, followed by a double-session Wednesday, leading up to the second major scrimmage of fall camp on Thursday morning.
