Lists, lists, lists. With the upcoming NFL regular season only weeks away from kicking off, it's that time of year for more lists than even the most die-hart football fan would ever want to read. Yet in the midst of that are some interesting gems worth your time and an intriguing one is found over at NFL.com from Dan Hanzus checking on the top candidates for Comeback Player of the Year.
Peyton Manning leads the list, but it's impossible to ignore the astounding number of Chiefs on the list. Three of the top ten reside in KC these days, and that means Eric Berry, Peyton Hillis and Jamaal Charles are all important players that the Chiefs are depending upon to return. That doesn't even include Matt Cassel or Tony Moeaki either.
Every team deals with injuries, but the ones suffered by the Chiefs last year were crippling to say the least.
