The Kansas City Chiefs will attempt to win their second preseason game in as tries as they take on the Rams on Saturday at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis.
Ricky Stanzi could get the majority of the reps at quarterback, as he'll be Matt Cassel's primary backup for this game. Stanzi went 2-for-7 for 42 yards in the Chiefs' 27-17 victory in their preseason opener vs. the Arizona Cardinals, while Brady Quinn was able to attempt 13 passes, completing 7 of those for 81 yards, though he did throw an interception.
Brandon Flowers is the Chiefs' most notable injured player. He has been inactive for a couple of weeks, and likely will not play on Saturday. Cyrus Gray and Cameron Sheffield are nursing minor injuries, as well.
Meanwhile, the Rams are coming off of a 38-3 thrashing at the hands of the Indianapolis Colts. They have a myriad of injuries to deal with as well, although with the possible exception of Scott Wells and Trevor Laws, none of them look to be too serious.
