2012 Barclays: Rough Back Nine Drops Jeff Maggert On Leaderboard

After a two-under par performance by Missouri-native Jeff Maggert kept him in contention after Thursday's first round at the 2012 Barclays, he is down 50 spots on the leaderboard after a rough start to the back nine on Friday.

After going one-under through the first nine holes in round two to bring his total score to three-under in the tournament, Maggert hit for bogeys on both holes 10 and 11 before earning a double bogey on the par five hole 13. A birdie on hole 15 provided some help, but the damage had already been done as Maggert tumbled from No. 26 to No. 76 in the tournament.

Tied for the lead are Vijay Singh and Padraig Harrington at seven-under par, although Harrington has yet to start his second round on Friday.
