Missouri Women's Soccer Featured On TV 4 Times In 2012

Missouri's women's soccer team is already reaping the benefits of their change to the SEC. Four of the team's games in 2012 will be broadcast on TV, giving the Tigers exposure that they never had in the Big XII.

The Tigers will first be on TV on August 26 when the Pac-12 Network televises their match at California. That match is covered by the Bears' and the Pac-12's TV deal, but the remaining three televised matches all come from the SEC.

ESPNU will broadcast their trip to South Carolina on September 16 and it will also be streamed live on Watch ESPN. Sun Sports will have their October 12 contest against Florida and their visit to Texas A&M will be on SportSouth as well as ESPN3.

Should Missouri make the SEC Tournament final, they will be on TV a fifth time. That match will be be shown on ESPNU.

Missouri was picked to fifth fifth in the SEC East by the conference's coaches. Florida and Texas A&M were picked to win their respective divisions, while South Carolina was pegged to finish third in the East. California was ranked third in the Pac-12's preseason poll.
