Former standout Missouri wide receiver Jeremy Maclin is establishing a football scholarship at his alma mater, according to a press release from the university.
↵↵↵"I'm really excited and honored to be able to do something like this. Football has been such a blessing for me, and I'm grateful that I have the opportunity to give back and support the Mizzou program that means so much to me. My time at Mizzou was life-changing, and I want to help provide that same kind of experience for others for years to come, so that they can see just how special of a place it is," Maclin said.

The scholarship is to go to a Missouri native with a grade point average of 3.5 or better, with preference given to players from Kirkwood, Mo., Maclin's hometown. Financial need and community service will also be considered.
↵Maclin was a two-time All-American for the Tigers and is Missouri's all-time all-purpose yardage leader. He currently plays professionally for the Philadelphia Eagles.
