In Kansas City, WR Dwayne Bowe has yet to put his autograph on his one year franchise tag tender from the Kansas City Chiefs. That offer for Dwayne Bowe is value around $9.5 million for playing the 2012 season in red and gold.

However, it has been reported that Dwayne Bowe will eventually report to the Kansas City Chiefs:

In the mean time, the Chiefs 2011 first round pick Jonathan Baldwin has been turning some heads in Chiefs training camp with his exceptional athletic ability and pig-skin seeking hands.

This is a receiver that is 6'4" 230 lbs with 4.5 speed and a 42 inch vertical. Yesterday, in a joint practice with the Arizona Cardinals, Jon Baldwin showed off every ounce of those measurables when he was making catches like this in camp against the Cardinals secondary.

For Fantasy Football enthusiast's, Dwayne Bowe's training camp absence could be a good sign for their wide receiver depth.

Jon Baldwin is a physical freak with a ton of upside and despite his troubles in 2011. He is currently getting a lot of reps in with the first team and seemingly building a quality rapport with the Kansas City Chiefs stable of quarterbacks; including starter Matt Cassel.

With all of the Chiefs potential weapons on an offense that Matt Cassel will have to distribute the ball around too. Jon Baldwin may not have the targets to lead the team in receptions on a weekly basis. So keep in mind, Baldwin may not be the best option in a PPR (Points Per Reception) situation.

Though when looking at his play making potential in the red zone. Jon Baldwin is definitely a player to consider. His natural leaping ability is off the charts and he attacks the ball with reckless abandon. Baldwin's arms are comically long and it just adds to his ball-hawking skills when he is gliding through the air going up for up for a pass.

If you are looking for value, chunks of yardage and potential touchdowns, Kansas City Chiefs WR, Jon Baldwin may be the fantasy sleeper for you.
