Kansas State Places Third In Big 12 Women's Volleyball Preseason Poll

Kansas State has claimed the third place position heading into the upcoming Big 12 volleyball season, a sign that the Wildcats are expected to potentially contend for the conference title as a darkhorse. It's also clear that Texas is expected to dominate with one lone first place vote of nine going to the Iowa State Cyclones in the preseason poll just released for the Big 12 women's volleyball season.

Interestingly enough, newcomers TCU and West Virginia aren't believed to have much to add to their new conference home with the two schools placing 7th and 9th on the list. As for Kansas, they're in the middle of the pack in sixth place.

K-State made its third regional appearance last year in school history with an upset of second ranked Nebraska. They'll hope to build on that momentum this season.
