Cat Barber Has Kansas Basketball Among Final 3 Schools

Highly-touted prep point guard Anthony "Cat" Barber has narrowed his college choices down to three, and the University of Kansas is still in the mix, according to Gary Bedore of KUSports.com.

Barber is also considering Alabama and North Carolina State, with Louisville recently dropping out of the running to focus their efforts on another recruit. Barber visited KU a couple of weeks ago, while Jayhawks head coach Bill Self made a trip to Barber's home as recently as Tuesday.

Barber is a 6'2 senior from Hampton High School in Hampton, Va. He is ranked No. 3 among all high school guards according to ESPN's Recruiting Nation, while coming in as the 11th-ranked player overall.

Kansas was previously in on Barber's AAU teammate, Troy Williams, but Bedore says KU is no longer on his list.
