New, 1 comment

The No. 19 Kansas State Wildcats women's volleyball team continued their perfect season on Thursday with a 3-0 domination of the Tulsa Golden Hurricane to boost their record to 10-0. The Wildcats were able to slow Tyler Henderson, the NCAA's leader in kills per set, recording 14.5 blocks as a team.

Junior middle blocker Kaitlynn Pelger was a big factor for the Wildcats on Thursday as they were able to continue the best start to a season in school history. Pelger recorded 11 kills and 12 digs for her fourth double-double of the season, while senior Kathleen Ludwig added 10 kills and six digs.

K-State will have a huge challenge in their second match of the Golden Hurricane Classic, though, when they take on the No. 10 Minnesota Golden Gophers. The match is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. CT and fans can listen on 1350 KMAN or watch online on K-StateHD.TV.
