Only 26 teams at the FBS level remain undefeated through four weeks of the 2012 college football season, and no conference has more teams than the seven in the Big 12. As a conference, the 10 members of the Big 12 have only five losses total, three belonging to Kansas.
It is still very early, but Kansas State enters its bye week at the top of the Big 12 standings in a tie with TCU. The Wildcats' upset of Oklahoma was one of only two conference games played so far. The other conference game was TCU's win over Kansas last week.
Kansas State has a week off before hosting the struggling Jayhawks on October 6.
