Missouri's move to the SEC is drawing national attention for the upcoming men's basketball season. Along with a solid recruiting class for the 2012-13 season, the Tigers will be featured on ESPNU's Midnight Madness Tipoff Oct. 13.

The network's seventh-annual preseason show highlights schools from around the nation at midnight of the first day teams are allowed to practice. The other schools ESPNU will highlight are Florida State, Kentucky, North Carolina State, North Carolina, Pittsburgh and Syracuse.

The Tigers got some attention this summer when head coach Frank Haith pulled his team off the court during a game against an Amsterdam-based club team during a tour of Europe. Haith was ejected from a game in which the Tigers had a 54-29 lead.

Outside of the European tour, the Tigers are preparing to take on a rigorous SEC schedule as the school transferred to the new conference for the 2012-13 season.

Missouri finished 30-5 in the 2011-12 season, earning a No. 2 seed in the NCAA tournament. They were upset by 15-seed Norfolk State in the first round.
