The Oklahoma State Cowboys found a weakness in the No. 12 Texas defense and trail the Longhorns 21-17 at the half in Stillwater.
Joseph Randle opened the scoring less than a minute into the game with a 69-yard touchdown run, breaking several tackles on his way to the endzone. The Longhorns would respond with two long touchdown passes in less than two minutes, but J.W. Walsh would hit Josh Stewart for a 44-yard touchdown pass to tie the game at 14.
The Longhorns would take the lead on the next play, with Marquise Goodwin racing the ensuing kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown, giving Texas the lead once more.
The second quarter would feature a lone Oklahoma State field goal, and the Cowboys would trail 21-17 going into the half.
The Cowboys outgained the Longhorns 283-160 in the first half, with 168 yards coming on the ground. J.W. Walsh, starting in place of Wes Lunt, was 9-of-13 for 115 yards, one touchdown and one interception.
