Though the Denver Broncos are the trendy pick to win the AFC West thanks to Peyton Manning, at least one NFL expert thinks the Kansas City Chiefs will win the division.

↵↵↵Every year there's a last-to-first story. The Chiefs are mine, though it's a flimsy last to first, seeing as how they were a game out of first in the AFC West last year.

With Kansas City's relatively easy schedule, it's not far fetched to believe that the Chiefs will win the division. Since they won the division in 2011, the Broncos have the Pittsburgh Steelers, Houston Texans and New England Patriots on the schedule. The Chiefs, meanwhile, have dates with the Buffalo Bills, Indianapolis Colts and Cleveland Browns -- the other three last-place finishers in the AFC divisions last year.
↵Assuming the Chiefs stay healthy, the AFC West race should be very interesting -- and the Chiefs should be in it until the end.
