The Week 6 Coaches' Poll is out and the Kansas State Wildcats are locked in again at No. 8 in the poll. Unlike the AP Poll, K-State is the second-highest Big 12 team in the poll, flipped with West Virginia. The Mountaineers remained at No. 7 after putting 70 points on the board in their Big 12 debut against Baylor. The Mountaineers and Wildcats will meet in the third week of October.

The Texas Longhorns, who held on against the Oklahoma State Cowboys on Saturday, moved inside the top 10 to No. 9, taking the place of Stanford. Oklahoma is also considerably higher in the Coaches' Poll than the AP Poll, now slotted inside the top 15 after their loss last week to the Wildcats.
